Yesterday I wanted to paint little K, so I did it :3
It’s been a while now since I started experimenting with ink, thanks to a friend of mine. He recommended that I should use Winsor & Newton’s ink. W&N Inks are permanent, once dry, they don’t back into solution, which is perfect for me because I draw with them first, to then paint with watercolor on it. It works perfectly and it has a beautiful finish. The one I use is number 951 (Black indian ink)
The watercolors I’ve been using since last year are Van Gogh’s. I also have a box of Koi pocket watercolor set by Sakura, and also some other really cheap watercolors I bought here in Chile.
Unfortunately after trying Van Gogh’s, it’s really hard to go back to the other brands… Van Gogh’s watercolors just flow with water in a super natural and beautiful way ^^ Sakura’s set… has a “weird” texture, sort of “dusty”; I didn’t notice this until I got my Van Gogh set of course xD I think I bought the Sakura set because 1. It was cheaper than Van Gogh’s, 2. It had more colors in the set, and 3. It came with that water pen.
I can still use Sakura’s watercolors (I use it mostly because in my box, it has the skin color xD), but I can’t go back to the cheap ones I bought at the supermarket… too not-so-watercolory **Super adjective**.

Ayer quería dibujar a la pequeña K, así es que eso hice.
Ya llevo un tiempo usando tinta, gracias a un amigo mio. Él me recomendó que usara la marca Winsor & Newton. Las tintas W&N son permanentes, una vez que se secan no vuelven a ser solubles, lo que es perfecto para mi trabajo porque no se ve afectada por el agua ni la acuarela. Funciona perfectamente y tiene una hermosa terminación. La tinta que utilizo es la número 951, (Black Indian Ink)
Las acuarelas que he estado usando desde el año pasado son marca Van Gogh. También tengo una caja de bolsillo de acuarela marca Sakura, Y otro set con muchos colores más de acuarela pero la compré acá en Chile.
Desafortunadamente, después de usar la acuarela Van Gogh, es súper difícil volver a las otras marcas. Las acuarelas Van Gogh fluyen en el agua con la acuarela de manera natural y hermosa ^^ El set de Sakura… tiene una textura “rara”, “tierrosa” (si esa palabra existe); por supuesto que no me di cuenta de esto hasta que empecé a usar las acuarelas Van Gogh xD Creo que compré las acuarelas Sakura porque 1. Eran más baratas, 2. Tenía más colores en el set. y 3. Venía con ese lápiz para el agua. (Bastante útil para mi ehehe)
Aun uso el set de Sakura (principalemente porque tiene el color piel xD ) pero no puedo usar la acuarela barata que compré en Chile en el supermercado… no resulta y punto! no es muy “acuarelosa”**Súper adjetivo**.
